The first blog I have ever created was a blog about my daughter, Kathleen Kiera. Initially, I used the default Blogger template. However this template was quite simple and there was not that many built-in tools to customise the layout.
So, in order to find out how to adjust the layout to my liking, I started learning web coding, such as CSS, XML, HTML, etc. Quite a journey, I must say, searching and collecting bits and pieces of codes and information that can be useful for blog layout customisation.
At the time of posting, I have managed to add the following customisation:
LOADING ...
- three-column layout
- recent comments
- favicon
- label clouds
- PNG images with alpha-channel transparency
In order to preserve the knowledge for future reference, I’ll post in this blog everything I found with regard to blog customisation. I hope you’ll find this blog as useful as it was for me.
